This tutorial goes through the pharmacy practice June 2019 exam paper.

Topics covered are:

• Calculations including zero order kinetics, isotonicity and freezing point depression, and alligation
• Aseptic technique
• Dispensing of cytotoxics
• Total parenteral nutrition
• UTI
• Medication review - Alzheimer's, UTI and elderly patients.
• Hepatitis B and immunosuppressants

Similar calculations have come up previously. Aseptic technique should have been covered in university studies. UTI, antibiotics, prescribing in the elderly, and hepatitis B have been touched on in previous tutorials. But overall it is a challenging paper.
