Hello
Hi everyone,
This tutorial is going through the Leg June 2024 paper, which as usual quite similar to previous past papers.
For the drug classifications, there are couple of straightforward P1S1S3 drugs. I give more elaborations in the tutorial, hope the comments are helpful. Probably the trickiest part to remember is whether a drug falls in a NP, P2 or P1 as all these categories cover over the counter drugs, there were quite a few cough/cold medicines this time. For those which contain more than one substance the drug classification follows the one with the most restrictions, and for those which also contain antibiotics they will have both PPR and A classification. DDs will have both PPR and DD classification whether they are combination products or not.
I added in more references to the Ordinances such as which section or which regulations, but you don't need to remember the specific numbers for the exams.
I've included Chinese but you don't need to know the Chinese for the exam.
For definitions try to aim to remember at least 80-90% of the wording.
Hope this helps and good luck with the exams!
Sharon
